Bike Ride and Stadium Tour at Spurs!

We still have some spaces left on our bike ride and Spurs stadium tour for this saturday (25th Sep). Even if you don’t like football (or Spurs!) it is worth coming along for the bike ride which runs from the neighbourhood up through Downhills Park, Lordship Rec, Bruce Castle Park, Tottenham Cemetery and on to THFC.  Spurs have kindly offered to give us the tour for free which is fantastic. If this ride should prove to be popular, we will offering a series of other walking and cycling outings to other areas of the borough and beyond.

For Saturday’s ride we will meet on Waldeck Road (between Carlingford and Langham Road – where this past saturday’s event took place) at noon. We will arrive back in the neighbourhood around 2.30pm. The route is primarily through parks and on cycle paths, which avoid busy roads. It is a safe and easy route so kids are welcome. We will be joined by Owen Powell who is a Sustrans Bike It officer who works with schools in Hammersmith and Fulham (and formally Haringey). If you would like to come along just send me an email ben.addy@sustrans.org.uk
