On Saturday 9th October, from 10am-1pm, we will be holding a Neighbourhood Design Strategy Meeting. This event will be the start of the design process for the DIY Streets initiative and is a really important stage of the project. It is during this meeting that we will explain the design process, provide feedback on the information collected at the street party, together we will map the neighbourhood, and then you will decide on a general strategy for the area.
To make this process as inclusive as possible it is essential that we get a good turnout to the meeting. It would be fantastic if each of you could take it upon yourselves to invite two neighbours, who have not attended previously, along to the event.
It will be taking place in the church hall at Christ Church on Waldeck Road – please see here for a map. There will be tea and coffee – also there have been some offers of home baked cakes! If you would like to make anything for the meeting just drop me an email – firstname.lastname@example.org
