Thanks for all the art ideas, designs, and suggestions submitted over the past few months. To help structure and inform the art process for this DIY Streets project we are going to do the following:
- Ascertain an art budget (week ending 10/06/11)
- Distribute an art programme timetable (week ending 10/06/11)
- Write and deliver a brief to residents requesting art proposals (week ending 10/06/11)
- Post submitted designs on the blog and community noticeboard
- Hold an ‘art in the community’ evening in July ’11, where each proposal will be presented and voted on
I have also created an ‘art’ category on the blog which will allow you to search for art-specific blog postings – located on the right hand side of the blog is a ‘categories’ list where you can select ‘art’. Please keep an eye on the blog and noticeboard for further information. Thanks.
